Eight people died today. Four of them being Korean.
Sadly, I foresaw hate towards Asians eventually escalating to this level of violence.
The greatest pandemic is the bigotry that seems to perpetuate within privileged and entitled individuals. They are cowards, only pointing out others' differences to aim fingers and mock—and even to murder. They are not able to comprehend the actual disease and sickness that exists within them.
What a sad day.
I don't worry about myself, but I do worry about my family members. I worry about my son, who inevitably will face racism one day.
Choose love. Like what Mother Teresa said, "To be kind and gentle even under provocation. To choose always the hardest."
